The other day Porter hurt his leg while playing and came to me crying. I said, "PORTER, DO YOU WANT ME TO KISS IT BETTER?" He replied, "NO."
"WELL WOULD YOU LIKE A KISS ON YOUR CHEEK INSTEAD?"
The answer was still, "NO."
But I persisted! "WELL WHAT IF I NEED A KISS ON MY CHEEK?"
He thought about that for all of 2 seconds and answered, "WELL THEN DAD CAN TAKE CARE OF THAT!"

I love it, but at the same time it makes me so sad. Lucas was going through a little phase where he wanted no kisses from me whatsoever. Thankfully he is over it for the time being.
